On October 23, 2013, the FDA approved the first and only filler made to temporarily correct age-related volume loss in the cheek area, JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC. The result? A subtle lift, offering a more youthful appearance that will last up to two years! A few things that make JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC different than other fillers include:
* JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC ads volume using Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring, hydrating substance found in your skin. As you age, you start to lose HA, which causes the skin to lose structure and volume.
