Christin
Patient Care Coordinator
Christin graduated from the Med-Assist School of Hawai’i in 2006 and has worked in Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology since 2015. A native of O’ahu, Hawai’i, she moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2018, where she worked for a cosmetic dermatologist for 2.5 years in Bellevue, WA, before heading to Oregon to be closer to family. She joined Portland Face Doctor in June of 2024. She is passionate about helping others achieve their aesthetic goals by providing support and guidance to our patients with compassion and care and is dedicated to making their entire journey as successful and pleasant as possible.
Kat Caruk
Kat is a dedicated and compassionate Surgical Nurse Manager committed to delivering patient-centered care. She started her journey into healthcare in exercise physiology, later becoming a surgical technologist and finally a registered nurse. Known for her compassion and positive attitude, Kat prioritizes patient well-being while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for our team. As a former collegiate athlete, she applies discipline, resilience, and teamwork to the operating room, ensuring the best experience for our patients. Her leadership helps create a culture where patients and staff feel valued and supported. Outside of work, Kat enjoys hiking with her husband and dogs, and exploring her love of music and art.
Laura Casper
Laura is a native of the Portland, Oregon area. She spent her early adult life being a stay-at-home mother to her two children and then decided to pursue her love of helping people by attending the Surgical Technologist Program at Concorde Career College in 2021. She had the opportunity to hone her skills in various settings, until she finally found her home at Portland Face Doctor in October of 2024. When she isn’t in the operating room assisting Dr. Vila, she loves to spend time with her family and friends enjoying the wonderful outdoors that the PNW has to offer.
Amy Ambrose
With a background that combines education, experience, and a passion for wellness, Amy serves as a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator. Holding a bachelor's and a master's degree, Amy brings a strong academic foundation to her work, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care and attention. For the past four years, Amy has worked in aesthetics, gaining valuable insight into patient care, treatment planning, and personalized service. In addition to this expertise, she has spent the past decade as a group fitness instructor, where she has honed her ability to connect with individuals, both motivating and fostering a sense of team building. Amy is deeply committed to providing compassionate, personalized attention, always putting patients' needs first while making sure they feel supported throughout their journey.
