Kat Caruk
Surgery Nurse Manager
Kat is a dedicated and compassionate Surgical Nurse Manager committed to delivering patient-centered care. She started her journey into healthcare in exercise physiology, later becoming a surgical technologist and finally a registered nurse. Known for her compassion and positive attitude, Kat prioritizes patient well-being while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for our team. As a former collegiate athlete, she applies discipline, resilience, and teamwork to the operating room, ensuring the best experience for our patients. Her leadership helps create a culture where patients and staff feel valued and supported. Outside of work, Kat enjoys hiking with her husband and dogs, and exploring her love of music and art.
Laura Casper
Surgical Technologist and Materials Manager
Laura is a native of the Portland, Oregon area. She spent her early adult life being a stay-at-home mother to her two children and then decided to pursue her love of helping people by attending the Surgical Technologist Program at Concorde Career College in 2021. She had the opportunity to hone her skills in various settings, until she finally found her home at Portland Face Doctor in October of 2024. When she isn’t in the operating room assisting Dr. Vila, she loves to spend time with her family and friends enjoying the wonderful outdoors that the PNW has to offer.
Amy Ambrose
Patient Care Coordinator
With a background that combines education, experience, and a passion for wellness, Amy serves as a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator. Holding a bachelor's and a master's degree, Amy brings a strong academic foundation to her work, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care and attention. For the past four years, Amy has worked in aesthetics, gaining valuable insight into patient care, treatment planning, and personalized service. In addition to this expertise, she has spent the past decade as a group fitness instructor, where she has honed her ability to connect with individuals, both motivating and fostering a sense of team building. Amy is deeply committed to providing compassionate, personalized attention, always putting patients' needs first while making sure they feel supported throughout their journey.
Jennifer Judd
Aesthetic Nurse
With over 25 years of nursing experience in clinical care, management, and education, Jennifer brings deep expertise and a compassionate approach to every patient interaction. Her path in healthcare ultimately led her to plastic surgery, where she found her passion in aesthetics—what she warmly refers to as “happy medicine.”
Originally from the Midwest and now proud to call Portland home, Jennifer thrives on helping others look and feel their best. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking local trails, caring for her eclectic plant collection, practicing hot yoga, and savoring her daily ritual—a strong cup of coffee.
Koko Osborne
Aesthetic Nurse
Koko's decade of nursing experience in trauma, surgical, & aesthetic nursing has fostered a passion for connecting with others and a commitment to providing individualized treatment plans. Her surgical nursing experience and artistic eye as an injector create a unique perspective into holistic, evidence-based aesthetic medicine.
In her decade of nursing, she moved from Michigan to Tennessee before putting down roots in the PNW in 2018. Her two fur babies and husband are often out exploring as foodies or hiking to any hot spring they can find.
Belen Rivas
Front Desk Receptionist
Belen brings a bright, friendly energy to our team and loves helping create a welcoming and positive experience for every patient. She recently graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Marketing and is passionate about building connections, creativity, and supporting her community.
With a warm personality and a people-first mindset, Belen helps make every visit feel comfortable and stress-free. Outside of work, she enjoys going on hikes, trying new restaurants, and exploring everything the Portland area has to offer.
